Guest guest
So, my migraine doc took me off all NSAIDs, believing that they were causing rebound. The problem is my joints, which is what I took motrin/Indocin for, are making me almost as disabled as the migraines! Granted, motrin never alleviated all my pain, just took the edge off. I have no firm diagnosis at this time. I am negative for all the usual suspects, yet have at least four and sometimes as many as eight joints flaring up. Right knee surgery twice in the past eight months. That knee is not better. The ortho blames the hip pain on bursitis, and is waiting to see if the pain goes away once or if the knee does. Really need a new ortho, as I disagree, and believe it is the SI joint causing the hips to hurt so much. Chiro made things worse, IMO. SIJ disorder doesn't explain the shoulders or elbows, though. Anyway, sorry to vent and ramble. Anybody else with seronegative arthropathy, and if so, what helps? It's been about ten years since I saw a Rheumy, wondering if that is smarter than a new ortho?
