Even with narcotic pain meds, that just keep getting increased. Could your pain be caused by overload of toxins in your body? Or a food allergy or sensitivity? I used to have headaches every day, and I would have allergies almost every day (runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, wheezing). I went in for allergy testing and came up with allergies to dogs/cats and mold/mildew. But those allergies dog/cat and mold/mildew do not in any way explain the daily headaches and allergies I was having ! I read about toxins overwhelming the body and I tried a diet that eliminates grains. I tried the diet for a different reason than the headaches and allergies, because I surely didn;t think that what I ate had all that much to do with my headaches and allergies, especially since I had been tested and cleared of such. From as early as I can remember, I lived with a kleenex box under my arm and eye drops in my bag. I lived on allergy medications, and was loopy or falling asleep from the effects of them. But today, no more. I stopped eating the grains, and within 6 months all of my allergies cleared! Also, my headaches and the majority of my joint pains stopped. So, for me it was the sensitivity to grains that was causing most of my aches and pains. And stopping eating them saved me. Sometimes they body sends us unexplainable messages, and it takes a random change in ways or diet to make clear the cause of things. It's not easy to go grain-less, but in my case, I would not go back. Sometimes I cheat and have some toast or a cookie, and then I'm sorry for the next 2-3 days. For me, it seems to take at least 3 days for things to get out of my system. Just to clarify, I do have an allergy day a couple times/year and an occasional painful headache and I'm on pain medication for chronic nerve pain. But, the way I look at it is, one step at a time. I'm just grateful that I was able to stumble across the cause of my daily head and allergy pain. Jade
Guest guest
For me the cluster migraines is caused by the nerves and muscles that are so tight in and around me neck that they cause a kink therfore causing a blockage of blood to the brain ergo migraine. I do take a combo pill for my headaches that are given to me by va luckily if they get really bad they will give me a shot of toredal
Guest guest
Any possibiity that you aren't sensitive to all grains? Do you have a gluten allergy? If you wouldn't mind listing the grains that you don't eat, I'm always curious about such things as I believe grain to be a necessity, maybe not all grains, as my body doesn't like wheat at all. A thought, you know you have allergy to mold, most grains tend to become moldy very easy, even a little that you or anyone couldn't see it.
