Guest guest
Hi Everyone A T.E.N.S. (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) unit doesn't work to give relievea my type of neuropathy pain. Many members in the group use one, with great success. I have a dear friend who uses one, and loves hers. A physical therapist, should show you exactly how to use one for the maximum affect. Here is a link the explains more about what one is: http://tinyurl.com/yua5nb Here is another link with very reasonable prices. You might check with your insurance company to see if they will pay for one. If not these are at reasonable prices. I can't believe how tiny they are be now. http://www.tensunit.com/ Kaylene Moderator PS I don't sell these!

Guest guest
I have had some limited success with a T.E.N.S. unit; for me, it can help immensely or not at all, depending on the type of pain and where it is. Your physician may be able to let you try one before buying to see if it is effective in your particular case. Take care, JoAnn
Guest guest
My physical therapist had used a tens on my shoulder. It helped some when they used it. But that was right before I stopped PT. I went for 7 months. I kept telling my doctor that the physical therapy actually made the pain worse but the doctor insisted that I continue going. I had no choice but to go since it was a workmen's comp case.
