I have found that when you have a good pharmacist, they seem to be more up to

date than the doctors on what medications are capable of and what off label

treatments they can be used for.

When they're good, they also know the side effects, and the fillers used in the

meds. I'm allergic to so many medications, and the doctors never seem to warn

me properly. They just write the RX, and then the pharmacist will say, " This

might not work for you, considering your other allergies on file, so just be

careful. "

Nice to have someone watching my back, from time to time.
