Weather changes Increasing Pain Level Lowering Immunity

I just wanted to tell everyone to take it easy, be aware, I think that

the weather changing is majorly why I recently had an escalation in my

pain level, had to increase my meds, and came down with a flu bug. I

hadn't gotten a flu shot because I didn't have the $35, and had about

a week out of the blue where my pain level got a lot worse, and I had

to take more pain meds, and then I caught a bug. I was feeling great,

excellent (for me) right before this. I DID increase my activities

because of the school year starting, I had my nieces & nephews over,

and I started volunteering once a week for 2 hours reading stories to

kids, but nothing that I would have thought of as something that would

send me back to bed with really bad pain again, and would make me

susceptible to flu bug, but it did happen. Anyone else find themselves

so susceptible recently?

I too found myself in more pain this week. I had a great day on Saturday and

Sunday, then woke up at 3:30 am in so much pain I couldn't move. I spent all

day Monday in bed which means I missed work and a whole day's pay. I spoke to

my doctor and he said any time we have a weather change or a severe storm the

chances of my pain level increasing are very high. At least I know it wasn't

from something I did, but when you live in Michigan like I do, I really didn't

like the answer.
