The author has released it free of charge to anyone who wishes to read it, print it, pass it along, etc. There are also some great tips for improving pain relief. Steve, I usually do no mention a specific person or site unless I think it is beneficial. I also found his article about he did after he was called to review Hughe's autopsy very interesting. It was published in 2007 in Practical Pain Management and here is a description of it: Tennant's findings are the subject of a lengthy article " and Pseudoaddiction - A retrospective case report of this remarkable individual's 30-year survival by self-medicating his intractable pain, " published in the just-released July/August issue of " Practical Pain Management, " a tutorial medical journal for physicians only-the largest publication of its type in the country. It is located at http://www.foresttennant.com under articles along with the other articles that are very helpful. It is also at paintopic.org which is one of the most comprehensive sites I have found. I really just look with most information in one place so if I recommend a site it is usually why and if I believe the person is a reputable leader in their field and peer reviewed. The reviews I have found about his research have been good and he is comitted and has been doing this since 1975 and advocated for changes along with the other Pain Foundations. If you have time or interest check out some links. The American Pain Foundation lobbies actively and doing a virtual march in September to Washington and they were instremental in provisions in the Pain Care Act. I am so glad that there are others advocating for making sure pain relief is provided for all pain patients and I am always surprised at the people working to accomplish that. Thank Goodness for them. Bennie
