Guest guest
Hello to everyone, Not that Gretchen wants to be reminded of last weeks mishap... But several years ago, before my dx, I was in a department store with my 2 yr. old and my new baby. My 2 yr. old was climbing up a bunk bed ladder and I said to get down and tried to physically remove him. He resisted and I pulled real hard and he let go knocking me off balance. I hit the tiles in a seated position with him on top of me...knocked the breath out of me and hurt like !@#* ....well, I sit there in extreme pain with my two babies and not a soul stopped to help me up or even ask if I was okay! In fact, they passed by gawking at me like some kind of alien. I had to crawl to a chair near by to get up.(This was when I could still get up without aid) Anyway, " the moral of the story " is I think I'd rather have concerned on lookers (as humiliating as it is) than uncaring gawkers. Just something I was thinking about. Debi
