Have been a carver for a living for many years and can carve when the pain is

down.

What kind of hobbies do you all do to take up time when you feel like crap.

I wish I liked crafts, but I they make me crazy, so I read, or watch something

from Netflix. I can lose myself in a good book for days at a time.

I bead, read & Netflix. I have a small support group that I can text to

that will send me jokes, text me supportive messages or call me.

If it is muscle pain, I take long showers alternating the hot and cold

water. I have people who will remind me that stretching does seem to

help. My normal stretching routine takes about 30 minutes, on a bad day it

can be an all day affair.

I have my animals and they are happy to get attention so I enjoy caring for

them. I have dogs and cats and small critters and birds. Outside I have my

horse, goat and chickens. There's plenty to do according to my ability at the

moment. I just don't pass by a moment that I can spend with them that will

benefit them and in turn, it's therapy for me in many areas.

I think I have too much, I draw, sing ,play the guitar or keyboard, I have one

cat and one dog so they can keep me busy but it tends to be too much sometimes

especailly with the dog he is a full bred german schounzer and he is only a

puppy, but  as big as he is he can wear me down real quick. Oh and I build model

cars now I am not saying I do all those things in one day lol

Mostly I bead, sew and write, but I like to draw when my hands will let me. I

also want to get back into music if we can get a working piano or keyboard. On

bad days all I may be able to do is lay down and get lost in a good book.

Hi and nice to meet you. :) It know how it is to find doctors that fit

your needs and personality. I enjoy sewing and jewelry making. I have only

started trying to do the real small bead work. What type of things have you

done?

I have arthritis in my hands and find that doing the jewelry and crocheting

helps.

I hope you get some relief soon. Keep us posted.

Hugs,

Tami

I have a very small DVD player that is the size of a book, I can curl up in bed

and watch dvd's in several different positions which is useful when I can't hold

still in one position.
