Guest guest
Hello Ken, where do you practise from? Never heard of Haemochromatosis, tell us more please. OA Hip and metal to metal hip surgeyr Hello, I am a British GP with OA hips secondary to haemochromatosis. Haemochromatosis is a common genetic condition which often presents with early-onset OA i.e. around 35-45yrs. Have all you in this age group who have OA hips been screened for this? If not it's very important you are because without treatment, problems such as diabetes, heart disease and liver disease can follow.
