Guest guest
My son has been taking Transdermal Secretin for almost 1 month and we have noticed that his body gives off a strong smell. It is not an offensive odor but very pungent, if you get close to him you can smell a very distinct odor. We can't really pinpoint what it smells like but if we had to compare it to something it would smell as if rubbed canned corn all over his body. We originally gave it to him first thing in the morning and you could smell it until bed time. We eventually changed it to late afternoon and by the next morning the smell was much less noticeable. The problem is, he does much better the first five or six hours after administering it and it is a shame to have him at his best when he is asleep. Has this happened with anybody else? If so, have you discovered any remedies or a way to disguise it. Does it really matter what time of day to give it to him? Thanks!
Guest GregK
I have noticed a similar odor recently comming from me, I dont know the causes but I remember smelling it as a child from older people and thinking how odd it was. Am I just getting older, is there a change in my body chemistry or normal flora, I dont know.
