Guest guest
Robbie, Lyndi I have weight gain on muscle relaxants and it is more like a hormonal weight gain and not something you can just " get rid of " by exercising. I feel swollen and I also do this with Lyrica (which is a side effect) and it took me eight months to get the weight off. I cannot afford the weight gain. I also do this on Neurontin and some of the anti depressant. I use tiazidine short term and physical therapy which works better for me. The only thing that did not make me gain weight was Topamax (which was a " nerve " helper like Lyrica or Neurontin) and the doctor used it as I don't gain weight on it. I use Cymbalta as it is not supposed to make you gain weight as an anti-depressant. I am having to work with my doctor again about this as she wants to put me back on Neurontin after four years so I will try it but weight is at max again and it is not comfortable. Good Luck. Flexeril gave me a " hang over " type of feeling and very sedated and I don't like that feeling. Let us know how you do. Bennie
