Guest guest
I just heard so much from you guys that I thought I would try to dig out my very old tens unit and give it a try one time. I wonder what the feeling is when I put it on, was it the stress of hooking it up or some pain diminishing, but I actually felt like I needed to take deep breaths and a little lighted headed. I can`t remember, is there a limit to the time you can wear it? Is it okay to try and wear it to bed? I almost forgot I had one. i`m hoping it can help get me through the day. My family is counting on me so much right now, and my house is starting to look like no one is here to take care of it. It takes some time to get use the little shocks doesn`t it. I`m just not sure which hurting part to hook it on. I guess I need to experiment, right.! Just thought I would let you know I made it through the night, and home. Which was more than I thought I would last night. And thank all of you who woke my brain up to the fact that I do have a tens. Even if it doesn`t work it`s worth a try. Hope you all have a sunny beautiful day, and I wish you all less pain, R.

You cannot wear it over eight hours I was told, and there is some limitations on what you have. The newer units have larger pads than the old ones. I was also told that you adjust the power but you do not go over a certain amount. I would look up the company on line that made your unit and look at the instructions as what someone else is using there's for might be different. Everything I was told from the company, the representative, and my physical therapist was DO NOT sleep with them on as you cannot adjust it and do not know what is happening. The new unit I got was programable for each area of the body and you just set it on the picture. The new unit was so much nicer than my old one, maybe you could exchange it for new one. I hope you continue to have good relief with it and hope you get the instructions to it. Bennie
