Hi Mindy,

I haven't posted in a very long time but do alot of reading the posts and

gaining knowledge. Now, however, I may have something to offer. I don't have

your problem but I know about HSS.

In my opinion you cannot go wrong seeking help there. I've been attending a

support group there monthly-for people with Myositis-for nearly ten years. I can

honestly say that everyone there has always been so caring and helpful-at

least in the Rheumatology and Orthopedic areas.

I'd be happy to ask our group coordinator who she would recommend for pain

control. If she doesn't know I'm sure she will find out. I'd also be happy to

ask members of our group if any of them have used one of the pain control

doctors at HSS.

Personally, I've been so fortunate that my family doctor has treated me herself

over the last 15 years for pain from Mixed Connective Tissue Disease(crossover

of Polymyositis, Scleroderma and Arthritis).
