This is truly amazing and completely uncalled for. Your ER experience is truly horrible. I am so sorry you had to go through that. I live in CA and out here the attorneys would have a field day with your ER experience. I think you need to at least meet with the chief of the ER and get a written apology from the doctors, nurses, staff, and whoever else. If they do not want to apologize, then you can take them to court. You can also call the local news station or a local paper and tell them your story. That would be quite interesting for them to explain that away. You can make a complaint with the AMA (American Medical Association), and you can also comment on any doctor websites where you rate your doctor. You can contact your insurance company, or the state you live in as well. Lots of options for you to choose from. And, the best part is that when you're distracted with things like this, it's a possibility that you will be semi-distracted from the pain, as well. Just curious. What state or city are you in? Guest guest
I am from a teeny town in west Tennessee. About an hour or so east of Memphis. I just cannot describe how humiliated I was. I even got my dad to contact the director of nursing yesterday just to back my story up. They just don't know that I have a first cousin that writes for our local newspaper. I have made him aware of the situation, but he is just on hold until I see where the internal investigation goes. (Nowhere I would imagine). Because I received a phone call yesterday and they claimed no one in the ER called the police - they just patrol the parking lot often. I asked do they go up to cars and look for drug seekers that are leaving the ER? She had no answer for me. Thanks for listening everyone. Jade wrote: Amazing. Guest guest
The fact that they asked you the question about drug seeking proves that they were tipped off by someone. In court they would have to say who it was. This is awful and should never have happened. Carolyn Eddy " Sweet Goat Mama "
