I have heard so many horror stories about SSI and SSDI -- about it taking years

to get.(and they deny you a couple times first?) It looks like I have no choice

now.

I have spinal stenosis and gegenerative disk disease. I am trying to see if I

can help my back enough to get some type of job for income. My husband's

insurance sure is turning out to be horrible. We used to have a different

insurance that seemed to cover everything a doctor ordered. I never heard of

" co-insurance " . I guess I have a lot to learn.

I am not sure I will qualify for any help, as we are kind of the " working poor "

class, but I will check it all out again.

All this is so overwhelming, especially when I don't sleep much and am goofy

most of the time. LOL Unfortunately,my husband is not very supportive.

Thanks again. I am printing everyone's advice to keep in my medical folder. I

can use all the advice I can get.
