DMSO for Pain Relief

I was talking to a friend who recommended I look into DMSO to treat

my pain. I

found some at the horse feed store (for use on horses),

but I have been in so

much pain, I would have tried anything. I

bought some, and diluted the 99.9%

solution, 50/50 water and DMSO.

And, I applied the 50/50 to my pain area. It

actually relieved the

pain for about 4-6 hours. I am not sure how this works or

would

affect me long term. Has anyone else tried DMSO? Did it work for those

who tried it? If so, does it keep working? I am so happy that something

can

work for me, just really frustrated that the relief is not longer than just a

few hours. Also, after buying my equine (horse) grade, I learned that human

grade is also sold online.

For those who

have not heard of DMSO, read below article, and I'd be curious to

know what you think after reading.

My Mother used DMSO for several years on her poor arthritis crippled hands. It

helped her more than anything else.  She swore by it.
