Hi All,

That subject is actually the first line of a poem I wrote called, " ny of the

Weary. " Would I be allowed to post it here?

Anyway, I have a lot of physical challenges as most of us do, however, fatigue

had become one of the worst. I was sleeping until 9 or 10 AM, then becoming

irresistibly sleepy around 11:30 and would often sleep until 2:30 PM. I would be

up for a while and then be very tired around 7PM or so, etc., etc.

After having another sleep study to make sure my cpap was working OK, the

pulmonary doctor gave me a prescription for NuVigil (have we talked about this

med before? I am not remembering.). It is the new version of ProVigil, both of

which are 'mild, central nervous system stimulants.'

Well, I have gotten a lot of my life back. There are still days when I am

verrrry tired, but more often I can function and accomplish some things. This is

a relief because right now I am in the middle of selling my Mom's house (which I

was renting), finding a part-time job which I can do with my disabilities, and

attempting to move to an apartment on the other side of town.

I hate taking another drug and believe that diet, etc. could make a huge

difference. However, I am so grateful that for now, at this intense and

stressful time, I am (mostly) AWAKE.

Does anybody have any experience with these drugs? I'd be grateful to know what

yours was/is. Also, sorry I haven't been contributing much due to the above and

sorry about the long-ish ramble.

Thank you for the courage you continue to inspire in me,

J.
