Guest guest
Trish, I finally woke up from my pain killer fog to say Hi. I haven't had children either. My stomach muscles were very slack due to years of heavy lifting so my surgeon sewed me up tight.tight.tight ouch! I really feel all of this pain will be worth it...the results look great...I'm having trouble believing it's my stomach.....I was such a mess.....those of you out there considering this surgery, know there is hope for you to look normal. After my gastric bypass I tried to get off pain meds as soon as possible.....this time around I'm using them to the full extent...the surgery was more painful than I had anticipated.....and I don't feel I have to be brave and bite the bullet! I suspect I'll have my drains in for about 2 weeks...I'm still putting out about 1 and a half oz's of fluid from each drain when I dump them. My return visit is Tuesday and I really would be surprised if they took them out. I'm wearing the binder 24 hrs a day but today is the Big I get to take a shower....I can't wait to feel the warm water hit my back. When I came home Wenesday I started taking 's beloved Pro Blend 55 and Pro Score protien shakes to build myself back up...they have helped me in the past gain back my strength and I strongly recommend then. Yesterday was the first day I walked at home. My husband bought me a treadmill so I wouldn't have to do my recovery walking the roads.I walked 1 hour at .5 to .8 miles per hour and seemed to do fine.Every time I walk for any reason I stand up better....I can't wait to stand straight again and not resemble my grandmother! Thanks for letting me ramble...I'm still real goofy from the meds. Patti

I am overwhelmed by general response by all who suffer and offer one another further insight to symptoms and/or treatments. I am replying to those looking for free ISP options and thought I'd pass along some info for all. www.bluelight.com www.freelane.excite.com www.wwwebusa.com www.altavista.com All of these internet service providers offer free access, their software can be downloaded from their web sites, so if you are presently paying a provider, be sure to download prior to terminating your present access, install the free service and then delete your present service software. I am saving $23.00 monthly (Cdn. Funds)and if you can put up with the banner ads which pop up when you go online, it's a win-win situation. Warning, Yahoo (Bluelight) offer only 3MB of email space so you have to stay on top of your mail daily and read/delete to keep available space for incoming mail Hope this helps ?
