Guest guest
Christa, if you do not feel that you are getting the care you need, you could see if there if another doctor you could see under the workman's comp. If that is not an option then you may want to consult a workman's comp lawyer. good luck and keep us posted. Tami --- Christa Dondero wrote: > > > I just don't know what to do. Guest guest
Dear Dear Christa; I am not clear on the in's and out's of workman's comp. I would call the state offices that handle all the information and make a list of questions you want direct answers to. I believe that you do have the option to demand a second opinion on your injury or health problem caused by work related things. My concern is if that screw is sharp it could cut surrounding tissues, muscle, tendons, ligaments, veins, even cause damage to the surrounding bone. Not to mention the pain your in with the possible prospect of infection being a problem due to the fact you have a artifical part in your body which is broken and your body knows it. Please dear get a second opinion and find out everything you want to know. Call your state capital offices and ask for your states Ombudsman they are a specialist who works for people like you and I who are injured and need medical care and are getting screwed around with. Its thier job to fix problems and make sure that you get paid and get the proper medical care you need to get better. If you can't find the information you need just email me privately and I will get it for you. Sincerely Mist
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I went to see the Rheumatologist and toldhim about the broken screw in my right ankle and how painful it can be sometime. I also mention I'm taking Percocet when I need it. He asked me how many I have left and I said 12 (it was a little more than that) and he gave a prescription of more. Now I'm only taking it as needed. When I take it I do get a little bit of upset stomach. On Webmed (www.webmd.com) said to take it with or withou food but if get upset stomach take it with food and also with water. Now I'm finding this out and wondering taking the medication with orange juice or soda is causing the upset stomach. Anyone else having some side effect with the Percocet? \ Christa
Guest guest
Didn't upset my stomach, but I take pills with water usually or with milk or a small snack if they do upset my stomach. Glad you have the ability to take medication for pain when you need it. Jennette
