Good afternoon Mrs Katurah,

I really do not how to comment to this e-mail.  I can tell you are in severe

pain  I can also tell by the

e-mail that you are under enormous stress. I can only hope for you that some of

the stress can be

relieved and your pain back in control.

This is not very comforting, but as I said I really to not know what to say.  I

have been in the same

situation with the pain, as far as the medication cycles and etc.  I can very

well sympathize with you.

I can only hope and pray that all will get better.

Doug

Ms, it looks like your schedule is all out of whack. Sure hope you can take

today and tomorrow to get it back right.

It's horrible to be in such pain. Stress can cause pain to be more intense than

usual, so try to get your meds taken at the proper times.

I hope you and your family will find some peace soon, try to relax.

I'm so sorry to hear this :-/ Would either a very hot or very cold shower

help? Sometimes that works for me...although I am not nearly in as much

pain,

Hang in there,

Ms. Kuturah wrote (and much more painful experiences) :

my night pills and too early to take my morning pills, so I took 2 more

breakthrough pain pills. I was in really bad shape.

pain like razors cutting into me.

I waited for it to calm down. I ate a piece of toast for breakfast and it came

back up, because I forgot to take my Reglan. OK, it's going to be one of those

days, a day of fibro fog big time.

Oh Ms. Kuturah,

I am so sorry. I seem to have the same problems. I was called three weeks ago

to come six hours because my Dad had a stroke spell.

He is 91 and has farm with cows he still keeps and in Oct of last year I spent a

month with him and he thinks I can do farm work.

We stayed at the hospital with him to have his Carotid artery cleaned out in

Dallas and he has done well. I called his home health nurse and it seems he had

a reaction to the dye of the CT scan (he knows he is allergic but told them not

to give him the Benadryl before time so he could drive himself home although my

sister lives there) this time.

I don't know how we make it assisting others but it takes a toll on us and we

have to take care of ourselves, no matter what.

I never had shingles but broke out with them twice during the time I stayed with

him because of the stress.

You have to take you meds on time or you can't catch up, so to speak. Also, can

you get some medication to assist you in sleeping so you get the deep sleep to

rest you?

I have to take sleeping medication, when I don't get sleep or I get a fibro

flare. My Father is just fine now and is better off than me.

Can your get home health to check on your Father, this is a good time with him

coming out of the hospital and they can watch for signals of another stroke and

keep track of his health?

I notice you writing you stated get you sons fed, I appreciate this but isn't

time to make a schedule to assist you?

Ms. Katurah, please take care, stress is our enemy. I fell over a flower pot

the other night coming in my entryway that was blocked with my husband's

motorcycle and it caused me to go back in my spasm.

My Doctor stated, " Why do you pain patients always think you can get away with

injuries, you cannot and must take care of yourselves and

be most careful. " A scold that was needed as I was returning from staying with a

friend 48 hours that had an emergency with her son.

My friend's body is just fine but mine is a wreck and I had to have another

injection (small) to get the spasm out of an area that they

had already done and I was doing so well.

So I am including myself in the scolding of we need to take care of ourselves.

Do you have side effects from Reglan?

I had to watch for Tardive Dyskinesia. I was wondering if you had been told

about that also.

I hope you are much better and your family of sons and brothers are assisting

you to make sure you do not keep yourself sick by

helping them before yourselves. This is a challenge for us pain patients. I

hope you get your pain settled and some sleep.

Please let us know how you are doing. You are in my thoughts.

Bennie
