Hi Kaylene,

I agree. I believe that many people have good intentions and just don't know

what to say to those of us who have chronic pain conditions of some kind. I

know some don't want to be sympathetic but at the same time feel that way. I

have had some people just not care, but mostly those who do. A few of which do

as much as they can to help me out with everything they can.

I also try to avoid those who say hurtful remarks or have negative comments.

Also those who found out somehow that I take certain kinds of medications who

just want them. I try to give limited information as well as to the medications

I take. Only those extremely close to me know. Yes, my step dad attempted to

get them when I was living with my parents after moving back here to Alamogordo,

NM. But, I no longer live with them and the people I do live with has no desire

for them what so ever and know that I need them. They see me in pain daily and

how frustrated I get with the pain and know that I need them.

Life is definitely a crazy roller coaster ride lol :-).

Love,

Becky in Alamogordo, NM
