Guest guest
and I went shopping - crutches and all!!! I am no longer wearing the calf length stockings, Dr. Kohan lets you take them off after a doppler scan (to check for clots) but I find it more comfortable to have them on during the day and my legs are still quite swollen. Yep, those stockings are hell in 28 heat (and it was 33 last week). I am walking amazingly well with the crutches, to date the only problem is a slight infection in the scar. I am taking antibiotics for this and am starting a short course of physio as of tommorrow. But all in all I am very surprised at how quickly I am recovering and how little pain I had (plenty of discomfort though). It is rough sleeping on your back for six weeks. I am allowed to try sleeping on my side with a pillow between my legs. I dont find it overly comfortable though. I am in love with my recliner chair (what a wonderful invention) and can sit comfortably on the front of the telly till I am so tired bed is the only answer. I am slowly returning to normal and have done some of my work, which is a good feeling for sure. Keep in touch , Bye for now... Eva
