Guest guest
The plants that I do have are the low maintenance ones. Cali can have high heat for a couple weeks of the year, and it never really has harsh cold weather, so pretty much anything can grow. I prefer things that need not much tending and not too much water, things like jasmine, jessamine, sage, jade (of course), and lots of succulents (like donkey tail or aptenia). Oh, and fruit trees! I have my share of fruit trees (guava, orange, lime, grapefruit, tangerine peach, pomegranate). Sad thing is, I don't get much fruit at all. The annoying, and greedy little resident possum gobbles all the fruit and then drops the peels all over the yard for me to pick up. It would be nice to get at least one piece of fruit per season. Grumble. I also have rose bushes. Interestingly, roses need very little attention. The less attention I give the rose bushes, the more roses they produce. Any cool ideas on how to get rid of the possums? Jade
