Guest guest
Chelsea, I understand your fears of new doctors downplaying your symptoms. Do you have someone you can take with you on the visit? Even just taking a friend helps, because there are two of you. Write down all the things you want to tell the doctor and all your questions for him. Go over list with your friend. They get to check each one off and write down the answers to your questions. They get to help you make sure you've told the doctor everything you want to. If the rheumatologist can't figure it out, ask for a referral to an immunologist. Immunologists can treat for autoimmune diseases including RA. I hope you get some answers and relief soon.
