Guest guest
, If you don't have a pain specialist, get one. Either ask your primary care doctor for a referral or make an appointment with one yourself (I don't know what your insurance covers). In the meantime, I would ask my doctor for something else for the pain. There are lots of fairly cheap drugs that can target pain. I'm not familiar with Elavil but if it just prescribed for sleep it probably doesn't provide pain relief too. At bedtime, I take medications for both a sleep and pain. All the sleep medications won't be very helpful if the pain is keeping you up. Good luck. > > I have been taking Elavil for sleep and it doesn't help with pain. Lydoderm patches help but are pricey and can only be on for 12 hours per day. > Thank you, > D. Carroll, > > > > >
