Guest guest
Welcome to you, Kit. I'm sorry you've got issues that lead you to this group, but you stumbled upon a great bunch of folks! They're all very caring and helpful, and most of all supportive. Best of thoughts, in Oregon > > Hi, I'm Kit, new to this group. I have chronic back pain, fibromyalgia, and a bunch of other stuff, including tears in both my rotator cuffs, though I'm hoping that part can get better eventually through surgery and Physical Therapy. Keeping my fingers crossed. >
Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. It sounds like you have gotten on the right track. Please let us know how it goes with the Klenner protocol. Some of us here have considered it but not tried it yet, so we will be curious how it goes. There is also a Yahoo group just for the Klenner Protocol, in case you don't know about that already. As to the files, I think there are a handful of heling testimonials there (you can check out the file link), but most people just post their stories in regular posts (as you did) and keep posting on how things are going for them and various things they are trying and what has or hasn't worked. Dudley (one of the group members) keeps a Directory of MS Alternatives with stories of people with partial to full recoveries. Here is the link: http://www.webspawner.com/users/directoryofmultalt/index.html Regards, h > > Hello group, > > I've been lurking for a litte while now and thought I'd introduce > myself as not to feel like a voyeur. >

Guest guest
Thank you - yes, the Paleo diet is very much like BBD. Dr. Cordain also suggests remonving legumes, tomatoes and eggs. The eggs is the only thing I haven't removed yet. Does anyone here eat eggs ? -
Guest guest
Thanks again - I just started the Klenner protocol - it'll be one week tomorrow so I will definitely keep you guys posted. So far, nothing but I've heard it takes a while so I'm trying to be patient. My right leg is stiff as a board. My toes don't even want to move for me - that's going to be my first sign of recovery - when my big toe will wiggle for me I've joined the Klenner4MS yahoo group but there are never many posts on it - it doesn't seem very active. Hopefully, that will change. Thanks again for the welcome.
Guest guest
I had ELISA food testing done, which measures delayed food allergies/intolerances and came up very strongly that I was intolerant to eggs--hence I have cut them out ever since. > > Thank you - yes, the Paleo diet is very much like BBD. Guest guest
ELISA showed me allergic to egg whites but I still do the yolks on occasion. Can't say I've noticed a difference when I eat them. Guest guest
Yes, I eat eggs. Was told by my doctor, who also has MS, that eggs have something (can't remember what) in them that is really beneficial for MS.
Guest guest
I did ALCAT testing, which is similar to ELISA. Eggs did NOT show up on my list of intolerances (one of the few things, it felt like). I am still eating them and really appreciating that. I'll need a pretty good reason to give them up along with everything else in the world I've given up. Trish, in Colorado, US
Guest guest
That's interesting because I'm allergic to soy and have no reactions to eggs. > Probably lecithin. Guest guest
Eggs are high in phosphorus which is good for the brainĀ - Do you recall being little and the teachers would say eat eggs tomorrow morning before you come to class because we have a test and you need lots of brain power - Its best to purchase farm house eggs ... that's really important - the good things is eggs do not cost lots of money so spend a little extra and purchase the farm house / organic eggs - Take Care, Amada- ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Tuesday, December 23, 2008 10:23:39 AM Subject: Re: Introducing myself > > Yes, I eat eggs. Guest guest
Yes. it could be the lecithin or also the sulfur. I know how good eggs are for us and that is why I am hesitant to give them up - I have so few foods left also. > > Probably lecithin.
