Guest guest
Debra and were discussing daily intractable migraine and that is my diagnosis x 42 years. I've been every where and done every thing there is to try for the " cure " and the " learn to live with it " that I heard 15 years ago I finally accepted about 6-7 years ago. I have good Drs. and several meds. to choose from and orders on file at the ER if I have to go. The problem is they (at ER) still treat me so awful every time I go there that I swear I'll never go back. I even called a patient liaison who assured me it wouldn't happen again. They take a part of the instructions on file and make up their own cocktail of meds which rarely works. How can I get these people to follow the orders on file? I want to do something proactively so if I'm in dire need of help I can't always be a good advocate for myself right at that time. I think of everything after I leave the ER. Thoughts?
