Guest guest
I would file on paper a formal complaint to the Acting Director of the Er. That was totally uncalled for. the police was really over the top!
Guest guest
My advice see a lawyer and sue the buggers. I also had a very bad ER experience and it got so bad that my husband left so that he wouldn't hit the doc. It also was during a very bad flare up. I was in severe pain on a scale of 1 -10 it was a 20. This was before I found a doc who would listen and find out all the things that was wrong with my body. Anyway this doc had the nurse give me a shot of Demerol and then told my husband ( and the rest of the ER) that I was just a junkie looking for a fix. It's a good thing my sister in law was there. My husband left and it was my sister in law who put the doc straight. Blessed be, Ms.Katurah >tracysgirl38375@...> wrote: >We were in there about 10 minutes when it all went down hill. The officer wants to know if I am the one that is doctor shopping and which er we might go to next? I was so humiliated. All I could do was cry. >Now I guess here is my question- if I was in the wrong why have I gotten 4 calls from the DON, one from the er physician liaison, and am expecting another call from them tomorrow? Guest guest
I would contact your state ombusman I think that's how it is spelled every state has one for medical situations and they fight for your rights. I would also contact the board of medical licensing in your state and send in complaints and contact the Attorney General in your state and raise some hell. I would also contact your local legislator and complain. The louder you get the less they will like it but if you've had a night like I just had a day Then someone needs to listen. Guest guest
You need to talk to the Director of the ER Services. Such behavior is inexcusable Pam
