10 and a half hours in an A&E or ER

Hello Everyone.

Today was the last strew for me personal. I was awake yet again all night so

decided at 4.30am this morning that I would go to accident and Emergency (waste

of time).

I got my sister out of bed and gave her breakfast and medication and I persuaded

doing a packed lunch and drinks for us. no idea at this point that the waiting

time was so long here in the United kingdom to see a doctor.

We arrived at the A & E at 9.30am we left the house at 8.00am and I drove. I spoke

to a receptionist who signs you in and asks stupid questions regarding how you

feel today! I went today because the pain in my stomach has moved around to my

back now which when caring for my sister full time is not fun and I still have

the pain in my stomach also.

trying to entertain an autistic child in a hospital waiting room is hard at the

best of time. I was there for a good 6 hours before they called me into see a

triage nurse who had no idea what I was trying to tell her.

Then I saw a dr a hour later who examined me fully and he said the same as all

the other doctors i have seen in the past month. they believe it to be

Endometrosis but are unsure as of yet. I asked can I please have stronger pain

medication as its now both acute and chronic pain.

Then he told me there is no such thing as chronic pain and the only people who

suffer from that is people who have nothing better to do other then waste

doctors time as they are attention seeking. When he told me that I demanded to

see the Director of surgery and director of the A & E who said they were sorry for

the way i was spoken to and made the doctor say sorry to me but he refused to as

according to him I asked for it when I was nothing but polite to him. I broke

down and could not control my crying I was so angry yet upset as well.

Who else can I report this to???
