Hi Everyone

I'm having outpatient surgery this Friday afternoon. I have some kind of large

tumor, cyst, or some kind of polyp in my left nostril. I can barely breathe

through that nostril, it's so large.

The ENT says, he doesn't believe that is a polyp, because it's very hard. A

polyp should be soft. But, he won't truly know until he gets in there.

The sinus CT scan yesterday, shows that the the growth might be connected to the

bone. He has never seen anything like it.

He does not believe that it is cancer, because it isn't eating anything, just

growing. He is hoping that he can simply cut it and it will plop out.

If it looks beyond his expertise, he will immediately send me to a larger

hospital, perhaps Missoula. Leave it to me to have something weird.

My nurse practitioner, thought it was a polyp see she was treating it with

Nasonex. I have had other benign cysts here and there, one on my left breast,

one on my back, and years ago, one on my right ovary. Each of these were benign.

So it seemed that this was too.

We have gone past the catastrophic limit on our medical insurance so with luck

everything will be covered. I called and the doctor is covered, and so is the

hospital.

I would appreciate your kind thoughts, and to those who pray, prayer too.

I will let you know how everything goes. I won't know the results of the test is

completed on Monday to be certain that it is benign.
