I got my disability approved without a lawyer at my first try. I did not use a

lawyer and I filed all of my paperwork online by myself. What you need to do is

make sure that you have a copy of ALL of your medical records, make sure to

inform ALL of your Doctor's that you are applying for SSDI, and when you fill

out the forms, make sure to be extremely thorough.

It can be done, don't let anyone tell you that it can't. If you get denied the

first time, instead of going through a lawyer, you can go thru Allsup, they are

a company that specializes on getting people approved for SSDI and they do not

charge as much as lawyers do. Their website is: www.allsup.com.

Before you start the application process go to the SS security website and read

on the approved conditions that will get you a social security. The website

address is www.ssa.gov. You can read on how they determine if you are disabled,

how to apply and all kinds of interesting stuff to make your process seamless

and easier. Before I applied I read the whole site, and it was to my benefit, so

take your time and do it right. Good luck,
