Hi and thank you for the welcome and reminder about the posting rules, I will

try very hard to follow the guidelines.

I am new to this group. I posted a profile in the database if you would like to

know more about me.

I have been in more pain than usual for the last week or so. I am not sure what

has brought it about. I currently have a good pain management plan with my

family doctor. I am hoping to share and learn here with this group.

I have a couple of rare diseases and a shattered right knee that is beyond

repair. I use a lidocaine patch for very localized pain at night so I can

sleep. I have heard of a pain gel, but cannot find any information on it. Does

anyone here know of information for a rub on pain gel for very localized pain ?
