When I first came down with all what is wrong with me Not 1 doctor I went to had

any answers. They said it was all in my head, or I was a pain pill junkie or

both.

This went on for years. One doctor wrote in my record it may be fibromyalgia

back in 99. It was the same doc who told me it was in

my head and I just wanted pain pills. He also threatened to give me a spinal

tap.

At that time I told him to do it He didn't. He knew I was a CNA and CMA so I

knew how much it would hurt.

He told me there was not one thing wrong with my body and I needed to see a

psychologist or a psychiatrist. The exact same words came from 3 other doctors

(I found out later they were all golf buddies.)I was devastated.

I hurt so bad I couldn't hardly walk by then. My hubby's sister told me to visit

her Doc. She said he was one of those who wouldn't stop looking until he found

the problem(s.

He put me in the hospital, to do a lot of tests and sent me to other docs who

specialized in certain areas. Not only did I have fibro but I had a long laundry

list.

I love my doc If I have a new thing pop up I see him for the tests or

a change in meds. He has been my doc for 10 years now and I am in very good

hands.
