Only me a gain, have to tell you what I did yesterday!

I Hope I`m not boring all of you with my post. I do want to get to

know you all.

What I did yesterday was not smart, some would say " Stupid " but I

could see a lot of you doing the same. Our old Tom Turkey, and family

pet disappeared. The dogs ended up helping me find him stuck out in

our wooded area covered in weeds. He couldn`t get out. Well what you

going to do.

So I ended up trying to pull him free, which I managed to do, he never fought

me. Then I had to crawl on my hands and knees through the woods to try and herd

him back to the barn.

After about an hour and him getting stuck more than once, we made it He must

weigh a good 25 lbs or more. He is safe and sound, and yes I am miserable today.

I feel like I did a lot of pulling on my surgery I shouldn`t have done, My hubby

who owns the turkey helped by standing and watching and saying Good Job. So it`s

not a very good day for me, but Tom is fine.

The vet was out to today to draw some blood from my pony. We got that done.

Hopefully we can find out what is up with him.

I guess what struck me so funny was that while most people are

cooking them, I`m outside trying to rescue one. I`m glad he got home

okay though, I`ve started to like seeing him around.

Hope most of you will be having a nice Thanksgiving, sharing your

love with someone. As of yet, I don`t think I will be doing anything

unless I can work at our store for a few hours.
