Guest guest
Wow, Mist! You really held it together. It's good you had your husband there with you. I love the part about the critters hovering around. They do know when things are not quite right, and having two doggies myself, I know they know when you're in pain. Mine can always tell. The arterial test was uncalled for, and I am just like you with the low blood pressure, and temperature. What's so strange is when you come in with a temp, they call you normal. Like I am at 96 degrees usually, and then when I say I feel warm at 99, they say how that's normal. Not so! But then, in your case, you're normal and they're calling you not normal. These people just frustrate me. I can't believe they just didn't look at your medical history and say, " Oh look that's normal for her, we'll leave her alone. " Of course not, because that would make sense. You have some real patience, and you are brave to go through the operation at all, and then to have to be insulted by their lack of listening skills is just unfair. You know what works for you, and I think there must be someone you can make a complaint to. For you in the event that you ever have to go back, you want to make sure they know better how to treat people. And, also so they don't go around treating everyone like a pin cushion. And good for you not being a couch potato. I carry on like that, too. Sometimes I do more than the non-pain people do. Because I know that if I sit down too long, ha ha, I won't be getting up soon. So, for me it just all seems better if I just keep on moving. You take care, and get better soon. I'm glad they got you on some more reasonable medications to manage your pain.
