Guest guest Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 Yeah, I knew what the headache was when it happened. I'd stayed down, so I think it'd happened anyway in this case. I was just stubborn and didn't want to fork out another $200 for the blood patch, as our insurance required. I've cost our family so much with my medical bills! As my surgery date neared, I didn't have an option so had it done. Back then I was trying very hard to avoid pain meds, so told them I didn't need sedating (or whatever they offered me before hand). Boy, I'd do it differently now! By the way, I loved hearing about your granddaughters.
