Guest guest
Pat, I too always had difficulty with diagnosis due to near normal lipase and amylase counts. Sometimes they would be elevated while other times it would show normal readings. I also have and have had elevated Liver counts with all of my blood work. There are enough similarities to my case that I would warn you not to give up. She may be doing fine now, but that doesn't mean another attack isn't imminent. Tell her to avoid fatty foods and fried foods. She should also find a good GI doctor in Boston, if possible. Good luck in your search for the answers to your daughter's medical problems. It took my doctors over 10 years to finally figure out what was happening to me. Andre'
Guest guest
what i noticed myself doing in the beginning was waiting until i felt horrible then going to the ER where i would get a different dr. everytime and they didn't know anything about pancreatitis except the lipase and amalayse #s. i wish i would have gotten a good GI dr. early on to monitor me more closely Lynn :0) ACastenell@... wrote: From: ACastenell@...
