Guest guest
There is no other time I am completely pain free except when I am sleeping. For this reason, I protect my ability to sleep jealously (which works most of the time). I guard my environment, close doors at the same time every night, try to control the temperature so that it is constant and on the cooler side of 68, create a ritual for preparing, start preparing about an hour before I plan to actually be horizontal for the night, have sleep mask in case someone left an annoying light on outside or someone drives in with car headlights to visit someone else in the house, have earplugs on my nightstand and use them regularly. I have to use a constant positive air pressure machine and sleep mask. I have a cotton sleeping cap to keep my body heat in. I have lightweight natural fiber blankets amd sheets that are easy to adjust for temperature and don't hold too much heat in. Wouldn't I make a sexy new date? HAHA I've noticed that any little thing will upset my sleep. As I've become older, caffeine affects me more. If I have a cup of coffee or a soda after 1 pm, my sleep will be affected. If I eat after 7 pm my sleep will be affected. If someone wakes me up by phone ringing too late, or TV on too loud, or some such, it will take me days to get back on schedule, and have another good nights sleep again, but if I don't work at it this hard, I will never get any rest. in Oregon
