Guest guest
Dana Has your dr given you a time frame on how long it takes to get pg through IUI? I know one of our tenants in our building at work got pg through IUI. I heard it took her awhile. When I was having it done the dr said there success rate was 10%. But I also heard that if you are going to get pg that way its usually in the first 3-4 cycles. Pam
Guest guest
-Ok, I know this message was not for me, but can I ask what IUI stands for? Just curious. I was sorry to hear af visited you Dana. I'm expecting her myself. That's the worst part I think. When you're pretty sure she's going to show becuase of cramps, etc., but she's not here yet. I'm telling myself perhaps I ovulated on the wrong side this month too. Oh, what I wouldn't give to be just a normal, cycling woman who doesn't give two thoughts a day to the inner workings of her uterus. Hope your day off was nice. Guest guest
Pam, Well I got pg on the second diui, of course it was EP. But they say it generally takes about 6 months if you are using frozen sperm but less if you use fresh. Since and I neither one have sperm we are forced to use frozen. From most of the couples we know, it takes an average of 4 - 6 tries. Of course most have no fertility problems just no access to sperm so that can make a difference as well. Cryobanks usually guesstimate a year. Dana
Guest guest
Dominique,, I am so hoping that AF doesn't show her ugly face at your house. IUI stands for intrauterine insemination. We do DIUI which just means donor sperm. Dana
