Guest guest
Local Lidocaine may not be a problem, ask the dental surgeon. While effective at the local injection level it seems to dissapate quickly (2-4 hours) and thus does not affect the digestive tract. Local Lidocaine can do the trick however you will be surprised. You think you know where the most sensation sensitive part of your body is. you are wrong. While the actual act can be done with Lidocaine, the aftereffect can be really tiresome without narcotics but can be done. The year afterwards getting used to dentures can be tiresome too. But it can be done. A good dentist can be most effective in getting good dentures . . .bad dentures are a curse. Good dentures are an improvement to general health over bad teeth. That may be a good general improvement. Best o Luck
Guest guest
jerry has had bad teeth for years due to the excessive vommitting that he had been doing.. they are rotted and need to be removed.. but here is the rub.. he cannot have any narcotics.. due to the gastroparesis. he has a very minimal amount of motility 27% and we were told not to use narcotics that it would allow what little works to become nonfunctioning as well.. now if he has teeth all pulled (for dentures) what are we to do? hell be sick as all get out.. any ideas? They used lidocaine to take 7 core samples from my breast to test for cancer - it looked and sounded gruesome, but I didn't feel a thing. It worked quickly, locally and completely.
