Guest guest
Lou, If your friend's family runs a foundation, they must get requests all the time from numerous people. So surely it wouldn't be an imposition -- the worst they could do is say no. It would certainly be worth asking if they'd consider contributing to the PFF. Wouldn't that be great if they would!? Hey everybody, Joy tells me that she gets my posts double-spaced, but I don't type them that way! Is that how anyone else gets them?? I think that's weird. Geeta, I thought your name was Gita? Which is it? I hope you aren't changing your name just because we can't spell. :-) No one could spell Gwynne in the beginning, either. Now people have caught on, after a gentle reminder early on. I wish I were having for dinner tonight whatever you're having!!! , Congratulations on your beautiful new bundle. She's really a beauty!!! What joy! Leanne, It sucks that you're sick. Please go to bed and don't let this thing get worse. I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable. Hope the Levaquin kicks in SOON. Bruce, yes there hardly seems to be a limit to people's rudeness in any and all areas. I hope you were still able to enjoy the concert. Could you maybe have lunch next Friday the 29th (I know, unless I get a call that morning) ? Jane, how did the tv segment go with you at the grocery? I hope it was a fun experience for you! , I'll be praying for healing for your father and strength for the rest of your family. Take care of yourself. , What a great thing that you went to the Tassie doctor. All the testing sounds fascinating, and I hope it will all lead to better health for you. It's amazing how many situations most of us have been in that were toxic for us, although we didn't realize it at the time! yuk. I hope your regular doctor will be accessible to working with the new person. Zena, it's good to see a post from you. I miss you, and know how frustrating computer problems can be. I hope they're resolved soon, and that you'll be able to jump back in here soon with your valuable opinions and marvelous sense of humor. FYI, I know that concentrators are notorious for not putting out the liter flow that they're supposed to when they're tested. Well, today, I got one of those pen-shaped liter meters for the first time, and the same can apply to liquid oxygen, obviously. My 2 sets of 2 reservoirs that are Y'd together, when set on 8 (4 & 4), were only registering 7. When set on 3 & 3, they read 5. One of my Companions was also falling short of what was set on the gauge. With exertion I'm supposed to be at 15L, and the meter only goes to 8. At least I know that when set at 15, it did register a full 8. I'm bummed out about this. It seems nothing is reliable anymore, and I NEED (as do we all) to be able to count on my liter flow. Before today, I already knew that 2 of my reservoirs are supposed to be able to go to a total of 12, but they won't let me go past 6 without spewing continuously. bah. Why can't getting help to breathe be easier???? (don't answer that - unfortunately, I know the answer). again, bah.
