Guest guest
How's Wally?? Has anyone heard? I hope much better. Jane, I'm just jumping in here, but if it's Bulander you're talking about, she doesn't have PF. At the " Living With IPF " seminar 2 years ago, the top docs said to take NAC tabs vs. capsules. I was told that, but didn't know why. Sounds like Joyce has the answer. Brett, I'm hoping you and your brothers will find the best way possible to lean on each other throughout the events to come. I can't help hoping that all of you would sit down and have a talk - you need each other in more ways than one. Just my 2 cents. I realize it takes time to process this nasty information. By the way, your daughter is adorable! P, I hope the new medicine works for you. Juggling all these meds can be very trying. I hope you'll have only the desired results, and no crummy side effects. Did you say they are keeping you on the Tracleer, though? Hang in there. Irene, As usual, your treatment was/is unspeakable. I'd like to stuff their heads into that same trash can. I think you must be bulletproof to still be here! I also think has a tremendous idea that you try to contact the hospital's patient advocate if there's such a thing. Goodness knows it's way past the point of any doubt that you've been treated poorly. I mean, these people have actually caused you harm! grrrrr. I'm concerned about the rapid weight loss (wish I could take it off me and put it on you - oooh, didn't mean to be gross, but you know what I mean!). Did you lose like that before when you had a similar episode? Kerry, Thanks for the encouragement. It is very discouraging when you have to do rehab in your own home, and to recover after walking from the study to the living room, VERY slowly on 15L. I think I'm going to be with you on the recumbent bike thing. That wasn't really the doctor's favorite idea, since breathing for me now is aerobic, but I think I need it for the leg strength. And, so far it's the only thing that I can do - slowly - and maintain sats around 90. So, peddle on! We do have to fight, that's for sure. , I'm assuming you feel better. I hope your sense of smell isn't hindered at all!!! Leanne, my nurse told me today that the flu is really going around here. I hope that isn't what you have. Do you have any fever? I hope you don't - you sound miserable enough! Liquids and rest, girl, liquids and rest. What.... YOU, in a stressful job???? 8-) Oh, I know I'm forgetting people. But I've got to try to get some sleep. Hugs and blessings, Gwynne IPF 7/04 listed for transplant 3/07 & 2/08 Texas
