I've got no screws in mine (Conserve Plus) and have thunks and clunks although they are getting less and less noticeable. I was told in the hospital that they were tendon rollers, tendons rolling over the bones. I don't think they're right though, since they don't really know what it is we feel in there. Thunks 'n clunks is a much better description in my book. BTW-I had no problem opening Richie's pictures. The link was fine.
