Guest guest
Thanks for the heads-up about the Tysabri warning. My neuro is considering putting me on it. I was wondering, how much has it helped you? Have you suffered any side effects? Guest guest
I know I've been lucky in having not been diagnosed for 30 yrs even though I had a few really uncomfortable exacerbations throughout that time. Chances are I'd have had a terrible time if I'd been treated with drugs ... I react to so many that my 'allergic to list' is embarrassing long! I do know that in the last couple of years I've been getting worse as far as balance and fatigue. The pain, I'm not sure whether it's from the ms, arthritis or what. Spasms and stiffness are getting to me but not unbearable. Hopefully I can continue advancing slowly and relying on diet, exercise and supplements. Btw Tom, my friend and I went together and bought a Jupiter water alkalizer. It arrived this afternoon so it'll probably take us a week to set it up. Neither of us are good at installing things Cait > > > I have not and would not take any MS drugs. > Regards, > Tom > >
Guest guest
Hi Cait, Besides diet, exercise, and food supplements, you might consider the other treatment options mentioned here: http://tinyurl.com/advice-to-msers All the best, Dudley Delany http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany
Guest guest
Hi Joni, I had the three amalgams that were in my mouth replaced about two years ago and replaced with composites. I also had a nickel-cadmium bridge removed and replaced with a composite bridge. I did not notice any specific improvement from doing so, but overall I am glad that I won't continue to accumulate mercury vapors for the rest of my life and I feel better knowing these memetals are not in my mouth, so I am glad I did it, even though there was no difference afterwards so far. It was a lot of money though, especially the bridge....Experts say removing metals from the mouth is only half of what is needed. Those who are mercury toxic generally also need to follow up with some sort of chelation of metals that have accumulated in the tissues and brain over many, many years that we had the amalgams. This can be a difficult challenge, as many do not tolerate the chelators (DMSA, etc) well and there are concerns about moving more mercury into the brain with chelators. Some people feel a great diet may chelate these metals natually, but that is also a matter of opinion--just as almost everything related to this illness seems to be (a matter of different opinions). > > Talking about heavy metals, I have a mouth full of silver and 3 root canals. I have an appt with a holistic dentist to come up with a plan to have them all removed. Has anyone else done the same? What kind of results have you experienced?
