Guest guest
I'm confused about titers, my DD ped said that titers for pertussis can't be checked because immunity wears off after 5 years. Is this not true? The previous poster said that the pertussis titers were checked. Can anyone clarify? > This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard a doctor say (besides " Thimerisol doesn't cause autism " ). As an RN we all had the HEP B vaccine years ago (I had mine in 1990 way before I new anything about Thimerisol). To check and see if the vaccine was successful we had to have titers done. THIS IS THE PROOF THAT WE ARE IMMUNE!!! how can she not trust the titers?
