Guest guest
Hello again group, Have been overwhelmed catching up but couldn't resist 'jumping back in' on this one after returning from holidays,as you made me laugh Clora, with your comment. Have you read out loud to your husband your 'prescription' request???!!! Those who missed it read below! Seriously though, this is obviously a very important issue, and one that in a slightly different way was discussed by the group a month or two ago and bravely got many responses... For any who missed it, the title was 'a very awkward question' Someone (Autumn I think , Oct 1st) suggested practical suggestions eg wedge tilt type pillow to help support hip, tilt strain etc. Could be worth a try? Know that both Brad and Bob posted thoughtful responses... It would be good to have more regular male input* to the group again, and keep Dennis company! Just my personal opinion but this group should be broad enough to accommodate different slants on things, although I know sometimes, especially when under stress, things can become overheated and seem personally directed. A shame...Maybe any lurkers could try a post again? (*Avoiding the Freudian slip about members!!) Guest guest
Chriss UK and group; Woo hoo Chriss is back and she is doing great. No I didn't tell hubby haaaaaaa. Yes I should lol. I love Freud. I read his life's story. Didn't understand it till I went to college and had to learn haaaaaaaa. Than it wasn't that good haaaaaaa. To read for fun is great but when you have to it's not fun lol. I don't agree with Freud on a lot things though. I noticed no one would comment on what I said. I figured they was afraid to like most of us are when it comes to that subject. I figured they didn't figure it out to so I let it go before I got in trouble with . I know how it is to run a group. I have a group on paltalk and sometimes It gets over bearing/over whelming. People push my limits. Its G rated meaning kids are allowed. And little cuss words sneak in. Like a great damn. Or a Jack Ass. They say well it it a wall to hold back water or a donkey. I have to remind them they didn't use it in that content. Yes I need a wedge type pillow to support my hip. Good idea. We missed you so much Chriss. We was glad you could take a holiday. We in the states call it vacation. Since I have a very close friend in the UK I know some of the differences. We even had a good fun argument about English spelling. Now we call it a USA spelling or a UK spelling haaaaaaa. Yea lurkers come on in. We don't mind your lurking. We want to hear your response on these things too. Welcome back lurkers. Everyone take care and God bless gentle hugs Clora **************************************** From: Sharon <rupertsmum@ . co.uk> Subject: Re: [ ] Sex and RA @gro ups.com Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 2:21 PM Hi Im interested that you posted this topic, im curious to know more about this subject! Guest guest
Clora, I haven't commented because the only physical contact that I have is my doctor, in which there is no pleasure. As best as I can remember, (it has been so many years) I don't think that counts. Shirley > > I noticed no one would comment on what I said. Guest guest
Hey All, I am sorry I missed something about the " Sex Talk " , because I sure do have some questions about it ..lol....but was always afraid to ask. Oh and I don't want to go there with my rheumy or my PCP.. I would rather it was done on the lurker / anonymous platform.I haven't seen or heard anyone else broach the subject so I have just been biding my time ...so here is a joke kinda leaning towards the sex part ..maybe as an ice-breaker, and maybe someone could tell me the rules about what we can or shouldn't discuss. I would rate this joke PG13 Milking it A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in.The doctor arrived, examined the baby, checked his weight and found it somewhat below normal. The doctor asked if the baby was breast fed or bottle fed. " Breast fed, " the woman replied. " Well, strip down to your waist, " the doctor asked. She did. He pressed, kneaded, rolled, cupped, and pinched both breasts in a detailed, rigorously thorough examination. Motioning for her to get dressed he said, " No wonder this baby is under weight! You don't have any milk. " " I know, " she said, " I'm his grandmother, but I'm glad I came. " Gentle hugs -n- Sunny days cher From: Sharon <rupertsmum@ . co.uk> Subject: Re: [ ] Sex and RA @gro ups.com Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 2:21 PM Hi Im interested that you posted this topic, im curious to know more about this subject! Guest guest
Cher and group; Haaaaaaaaaaa. That was fine Cher. I don't remember some of you here. Maybe I read the post to fast. Welcome to our humble group cher. Just in case your new. I waited till someone else brought it up to Cher. Than I let loose with it. Not that I am solely interested in sex. Oh never mind. I bought a a book Everything you wanted to know about sex and was afraid to ask. It was real interesting and stayed professional and didnt have dirty jokes or any thing vulgar. I love your joke here is another one but it was me. My doctor I been seeing a long time. He gave me a breast check, He did a pap test so I am use to him. I trust him as my doctor. I how ever forgot that there was always a nurse present each time. I was in his office one day for a skin rash on my hands. He asked was it on my chest. I don't wear a bra and you cant tell I don't cause I have inverted nipples. I said no I dont think it's on my chest. I raised my bouse up and said see. He stood there doubfounded of course. I went home with my scrips and on the way home I realized what I had done. I am still imbarrassed about it. I will never do that again. gentle hugs Clora PS I hope This was OK, waiting for to say enough sex here! *****************************************************************+ > > Hey All, > I am sorry I missed something about the " Sex Talk " , because I sure do have some questions about it ..lol....but was always afraid to ask.
