Guest guest
Often an area of my foot burns like crazy and is itchy. If I scratch the area, it burns more. Get this on either foot and shoulders mostly. It's very painful and uncomfortable. I have tried Eucerin Calming creme on it but that only helps a few hours. Anyone else have this problem? hugs, Debbie L
Guest guest
Debbie L. and group; Debbie you need to see a dermatologist or your family doctor. You might have a fungus. You could have a dozen other things too. Not to worry with the right cream your doctor can take care of it. hugs Clora ********************************************************* From: deebs87 <dlohf@...> Subject: [ ] burning itchy skin Date: Monday, November 17, 2008, 11:01 AM Often an area of my foot burns like crazy and is itchy. Guest guest
Debbie and group; No problem hon. I have all kinds of skin problems. Bottom of my feet look like the hide is coming off. My palms peel a lot. My dermatologist said I had eczema, psoriasis, and something else. I have lots of creams he gave me that seems to make them worse. My primary doctor said my RA medicine will clear that up the last time I saw him. He was right it is looking better. gentle hugs Clora **************************************************** From: deebs87 <dlohf@...> Subject: [ ] burning itchy skin Date: Monday, November 17, 2008, 1:07 PM Thanks for your replys dd and Clora. I don't get any kind of bump or skin changes from my burning skin areas. Mostly mine is near the ball of my foot and toes. Maybe I should ask my allergist or make an appointment with a dermatologist. Don't see my primary doctor till early Jan though. Debbie L
Guest guest
I know for me it works every time I get it. Enbrel is notorous for causing fungal infections. It first started on my feet then i noticed the little bumps on my hands and went to the doc and he told me it was a fungal infection. I got sick of the burning itchy feeling so started using the spray from lotrimin and it worked. jennifer Re: [ ] burning itchy skin In a message dated 11/17/2008 10:02:21 A.M. My doctor decided it was contact dermatitis. So now, I get that itchy feeling, but it never turns into the bump. It's usually on the arch or nearby. Nothing helps. dd ************ **Get the Moviefone Toolbar. Contact dermatitis is nothing more than an inflammation of the skin that happened as a result of something you came in contact with. Nothing specific - that's it. And they usually treat it with a cortisone cream as cortisone is a cure all for most anything. Have you considered a dermatologist? They could possibly scrape the area and send it off for testing so they will know exactly what you're dealing with since the other doctor apparently has no idea what it is or why you have it.........Doreen She actually did scrape it and test it It wasn't a fungus, is probably why she gave me the generic diagnosis (which I was aware of) It's not a problem now, I'm getting the itching, but not the bumps I don't think it's skin anymore -- it seems like nerves dd **************Get the Moviefone Toolbar.
