Guest guest
Betsy and group; Awe bless you Betsy, Welcome to our humble group. You will learn so much here as I have. You're Rheumy will tell you how often to see him/her, however; you may call and talk to the nurse about coming in early with a problem. My rheumy has always been accommodating when I needed to come on or have a question about my meds or RA yours should be too. Gentle hugs Clora ******************************************************* From: eafarchette <eafarchette@...> Subject: [ ] New to group Date: Thursday, November 13, 2008, 8:42 AM Good morning all, My name is Betsy and I would like to introduce myself as a new member. I have just recently been diagnosed with RA (only 2 weeks ago). I live on the island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. My Rheumatologist is located in Orlando, Fl but we do have one closer in Puerto Rico. Any recommendations as to how often I should be seeing a Rheumatologist? I have millions of questions that I hope I will see answers to here in the support group, as I am still learning what this is doing to my body and the signs I can look for to determine if I am flaring up or not. One major question I have is can this affect my asthma? I had an epsiode out of the blue last night, and when it was over, my shoulders, elbows and wrists were killing me (I'm still having trouble today). Any advice would be welcomed!
