Guest guest
Good Morning all, I am new to this group. I had a few minutes this morning since our schools are delayed 90 minutes due to snow, so I thought that I would write. I have been reading all of the emails that you send to eachother that are forwarded through the group email, and all I have to say is what a wonderful bunch of woman you seem to be and I am proud that I found a group to be with that will understand me. I had my tubal done at the age of 21 in Texas, after the birth of my son, who is now 10. I also have a daughter who is 11. I knew when it was done that it was not the right thing for me, pressures were greater on me that my now ex, did not want anymore children, that is another story. We divorced and I am remarried to a wonderful man who is 10 years older than me, and has no children of his own, although he has been wonderful with my two and acts as if they are his we long to have a house full..... but will be happy with just one. I have contacted several doctors because when I started this I was unsure of it being for real, you know the thought of having a reversal was just unreal to me. Since then I have had only positive responses about surgery from the doctor, I have my operative reports and that was good. I just wanted to share a bit about myself with you. I don't get a chance to be on here much and hope that you will all share with me a little about yourselves and that I can get to know you all and be someone that you feel comfortable with and that we can go through this together. I am glad that there is this support group for so long I thought that I was the only one who had the surgery and wanted it reversed. I couldn't believe it when I got online and started the research and found so many lives in turmoil with this. I want a baby so much that it takes everything that I have to get up in the morning....and go to work....It has become all I think about and it may be because I am getting older, and my hubby is older, or the fact that my sis and sister in law both had babies in Dec. of last year. Anyway it really is on my heart and the right thing for us. Take care and I wish you all speedy TR's. Tonia Everyone Hi all. Guest guest
Hello air-family. I have been too relaxded in getting in responding to the Board, but I read everything at least every other day so I do not get behind. I have been so busy because I just rented my own house. Yes, I decided Kaleb and I need our own place for now. I was successful in convincing the owners to release me from the lease in the event of worsening of my condition. They were gracious enough to allow that. The house is very cute and just right for Kaleb and I. It is in the same school district so he does not have to change schools. That was my only absolute requirement...well, that and a clean place. I am only 7.3 miles from my mother's home, so she will only be a phone call away. She has agreed to be my housekeeper and do all my laundry. I think this will work out nicely. I am a little scared, but I want to give it a try. Obviously, if things don't work out, there will always be room for me at my mom's. I have been very busy trying to acquire assistance from every available resource. I have been in touch with the Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army, Social Service, Community Action, my church, and anyone else who can help me set up house. I don't think going back to West Virginia for large items will be an option, but I will be returning there soon to retrieve my personal belongings, photos, housewares, etc. In the meantime, I will be satisfied with whatever I have. Kaleb's new bedroom just so happens to have been decorated for a young boy. It has Monster Trucks and 4x4s on a large wall paper boarder and dark green walls. The room is very cute. The rest of the house is very neutral, but mostly new. I am happy I found it. The cable and internet get hooked up tomorrow and so far I have a couch and chair in the house! My mom is going to bring some of my clothes and Kaleb's toys over tomorrow as well. The rent is about one-half of my total monthly income, but I will manage. If it is meant to be, it will be. My daughter's wedding arrangements are coming along. She was here in Ohio for the weekend and found her dress! Yippee! I went with her to find it and we had a nice day. I was exhausted by the end of the trip, but thankfully she found the dress at the second store we visited. She also purchased some of her other wedding items while she was here and it was a productive weekend for her. She was so stressed talking about everything she had to get done, but it was all accomplished in 3 days. She left early this morning to go home and I heard we have a winter weather advisory in effect for tonight and tomorrow, so am glad she is home. Safe and Sound. Oh, and on her trip here, she brought my truck home! Another, yippee! I missed my truck...I love that darn thing! If I were driving to San , Texas, I would definitely " fit-in " as it is a Ford F- 250 Diesel Turbo. It would also be great to pull a camper, if that ever happens to be an option for me! I have been praying for all of you who have been feeling ill and everyone else to continue feeling well. You are always in my thoughts, even if I am not here every day. God Bless, Tina IPF 04/07 PH 11/07 Ohio
Guest guest
Tina...glad to hear you made your decision and have your new place. With your mom so close by it sounds ideal. How does Kaleb feel about moving from grandma's? Take it easy. My 02 has sure changed. First that I had to go back on it and second I need 3l to start off. I will first be trying a cyl (the "wine bottle") and may change to liquid because it's lighter weight. I remember some saying there is a problem with freezing at filling but I haven't looked into liquid yet. Have a good day. Mama-Sher, 69, IPF 3-06, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Guest guest
tina good luck in your new house. the house and kaleb's room sound lovely. it must be very hard to have to give up your own home (and farm) and adjust to just having one room. i do admire you for going for what you want. as you say, your mother door is always open. i suspect, given a bit of time, your step brothers room will become available. so we are all looking forward to some pictures. we do like to see 'control central' (were you post to us). we will need to have a virtual house warming. may uip 06.06 glasgow, scotland > > Hello air-family. Guest guest
Tina, Good luck with your new place. It sounds wonderful. You are so fortunate to be so close to your mom. My mom is about 45 minutes away now, but that is close to me, as she was 3 hours away before I moved back here. It is nice being a lot closer. I wish you all the best and hope all goes well with the wedding, too.
