Guest guest
I was thinking about moving just to get away from my mother, my x, and my grandmother. By the way, my grandmother was at it again today- --I don't work hard enough now. <sigh> Tina W. -- In parenting_autism@y..., " Penny " <nospam@p...> wrote: > LOL, yeah Jacquie...my mother used to live 15 minutes away, too. > > Now she's all the way across the country.. > > We like it that way. > > :-D > Penny > > Re: OT: Selfish Whine > > > I love my mother but she drives me crazy! Guest guest
My grandma was doing good for a while. Then she always gets this bug up her butt and starts in on me again. That's when I go without calling her. And besides where I live now I can't have caller ID I hate that. I would always avoid her phone calls otherwise. Now I have no idea who's calling. And I think my mom was filling her head again. According to my grandma, my mom was telling her that before she fired me I always missed work, ever since she opened the bar. What a bunch of crock. I never missed a day until I started on medication for depression. Before that I would put in 14 hour days at that bar (without pay), and would work seven days a week. ughhh I told her my mom was a liar. Then my grandma told me that when she was my age she worked hard. yada yada yada. Ya well she wasn't a single mom with a child with special needs. She didn't have to work outside the home, they owned a farm. And yes a farm is hard work but she could also take a break to go in and make meals, and clean, and do laundry, and they also always got in there nap in the afternoon. So according to her if I don't work a full time and a part time job I'm not working hard enough. I was upset about the whole thing at first but now I don't care, because I know that she doesn't understand. How could she she never had to go through it, or half of the things I've had to go through in the last few years. I try to remember...she's old and set in her ways and no matter what I say it won't change her mind. I know I do my best and that is all that matters!!!
